First, the school profile

1.Xi Traffic Engineering College is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1994, it is the only ordinary undergraduate college in Shaanxi Province that focuses on rail transit.

2. The school is located in the "Best Landscape in Guanzhong", Shanglinyuan in Qin and Han Dynasties, and the east bank of Chenpi Lake in Huyi District, Chang 'an City, Tang Dou. There are Hu Yi Campus, East Campus and Tan Bin Science and Technology Innovation Park. The campus environment is elegant, the school conditions are superior, and there are modern teaching buildings, libraries, laboratories and cultural and sports halls.

According to the current national railway operation standards, the 425m rail transit comprehensive practice base and the "Rail Transit Signal Interlocking Training Base" and other professional teaching, experiment and training bases integrating electrified railway lines and supporting electric rail cars, communication signal systems, traction substations and stations have been built;

In the "ICT Production-Education Integration Innovation Base" project jointly built by the Ministry of Education and ZTE in the first batch of 30 universities in China, it is the only school in Shaanxi Province to jointly build and sign a contract. At present, there are more than 10,000 students in teaching units such as School of Transportation, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Zhongxing College, School of Civil Engineering, School of Humanities and Management, School of Marxism and Department of Public Education.

The school is the executive director of China Communications Education Research Association, a member of China Urban Rail Transit Association, a director of the rail transit professional committee of China Vocational Education Association, and Professor Zhang Jinsheng is the executive director of the professional committee.
