Yichun university Library implements the curator responsibility system under the leadership of the principal in charge, and consists of five service departments: office, editorial department, reader service department, reference department and technology department. The collection of books in yichun university Library is characterized by complete disciplines, strong professionalism and excellent collections. At present, there are Siku Encyclopedia (79,000 volumes), Integration of Ancient and Modern Books (10000 volumes), Yongle Grand Ceremony, Encyclopedia of China, Encyclopedia of Positive Pulse of Medical System, Campbell Orthopedics, Concise Encyclopedia Britannica (Chinese version) and Encyclopedia Britannica (Chinese version).

Based on the principle of "people-oriented, service-oriented", closely centering on the theme of serving school teaching and scientific research, yichun university Library integrates borrowing, collection and reading, and gradually promotes the "opening, automation and networking" project, realizing the open management of collection resources and providing readers with various services such as literature consultation, literature borrowing, literature retrieval teaching, database resource utilization training and literature delivery. All documents in the collection are open to privileged readers and are open continuously from Monday to Sunday. The opening hours of the whole library week have reached 80 hours, and some reading rooms have reached 98 hours.

Yichun university Library's elegant learning environment, humanized service concept and scientific and standardized management have provided effective literature guarantee for the school's discipline construction, personnel training and scientific research, and made due contributions to the school's development. It was rated as excellent in two evaluations of university libraries in Jiangxi Province, and was awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Library of Colleges and Universities in Jiangxi Province" by Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education in February 2005. In 2007, it passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education.
