If the book borrowed by Suzhou Library is lost, you can buy a copy for compensation, but it must be genuine, with the same information as the book number and version. There is no extra charge, but if there is any overdue fee in the process, I will bear it.

Book borrowing rules

1. Readers can read without a license and use the computer for free.

2. Borrow books 10 and audio-visual products 10 with Suzhou Library Reader's Card at one time, and now issue 2.

3. The borrowing period of books is 30 days, and the borrowing period of current periodicals is 15 days. Please return it on time. If it is overdue, an overdue usage fee of 0.05 yuan will be charged for each volume every day.

4. Before going through the borrowing formalities, please carefully check whether the book is damaged or missing pages. If yes, please give it to the staff and affix the "Book Inspection Seal". When returning a book, it is found that the book is defaced and not stamped, which will be regarded as book damage by readers and handled according to the compensation regulations of the library.

5. During the borrowing period, readers should take good care of books, don't tear pages, and don't circle or draw pictures on books. In case of loss or damage, the borrower shall be responsible for compensation. According to the regulations of our library, documents that are lost, damp, defaced, seriously folded, crossed and torn are handled in the following ways:

★ If a book is lost, in principle, the original book should be compensated; Or, depending on the publication of the book, compensate for books published before 1990, and compensate for books published before 10; Books published after 1990 shall be compensated at 2-5 times the original book price).

★ If the text, illustrations or schedules of damaged books cannot be repaired, they shall be treated as lost books.

★ If a book is damaged and can be restored after repair, it shall be repaired by the damaged person. If it is repaired by our library, the repair cost shall be borne by the damaged person, and the cost is 50% of the book price. Anyone who intentionally damages or steals books for himself will be compensated at 10 times the book price.

6. Improper storage of the reader's card leads to functional failure at your own risk.
