982 yuan (the seventh year of the Northern Song Emperor Taizong's Taiping and Xingguo), in order to celebrate the submission of Qian's Wu Yueguo, 15 townships in the southeast of Wucheng County, Huzhou Prefecture were separated and newly established as Anxian County.
It is under the jurisdiction of Wucheng County, Anxian County and the same city. The former site of Ya 'an County in Gui 'an County is located on the east side of Camel Bridge in Huzhou city center.
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Wucheng and Gui 'an were both the first counties in Huzhou, and they are still under the jurisdiction of the same city. 19 12 (the first year of the Republic of China) was abandoned to Anxian County and merged with Wucheng County to form Xing Wu County (now the municipal district of Huzhou City).
It has a history of 930 years since Gui 'an County was established and merged with Wucheng County to form Xing Wu County.
In the year of Kangxi 16 (1673) in Qing dynasty, Yao Shiliang and He Guoxiang, Yi people, compiled Gui 'an County Records.
The famous towns in Anxian County were Sara, Linghu, Shi Lian and Wuzhen.
