TTKN is a wholly-owned overseas subsidiary of Tsinghua Tongfang Co., Ltd.-Tsinghua Tongfang (USA) Co., Ltd. established in Beijing through its wholly-owned overseas subsidiary KNOW CHINA. With 130 scientists and IT technicians, the Institute of Knowledge Communication Engineering and Technology, five branches and more than 320 technical service organizations are mainly responsible for technology research and development and market development. It is the industrial core of TTKN Group. CAJPH is a professional Internet and electronic publishing organization headed by the General Administration of Press and Publication of China and the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by Tsinghua University. It consists of more than 350 professional document editors in different disciplines. Under the guidance of more than 65,438+030 scientists headed by Nobel Prize winner Dr. Yang Zhenning, CAJPH is responsible for the organization and collection of knowledge information resources, as well as the design, editing and publication of knowledge resources products. TTKN established a famous online publishing website-China HowNet, as a content service provider and a digital library technology provider, relying on self-developed grid resource sharing technology and nonlinear knowledge dissemination technology. The CNKI series full-text database, which is composed of most periodicals, newspapers, doctoral dissertations, conference papers, books, yearbooks and other literature resources produced in Chinese mainland, edited and published by CAJPH, is integrated with other databases in Chinese mainland to form the China knowledge resource database, which is distributed to China and the world in the form of a one-stop database supermarket. At the same time, it provides Chinese mainland with the integration service of internationally renowned databases on this platform.

In the past 10 year, China hownet published 22 CNKI series full-text databases continuously, including more than 2 100000 articles published by 7200 journals in the past100 year, and more than 12000000 doctoral and master's degree theses and conference papers in the past five years. At the same time, more than 1200 databases produced by other publishing units have been released, with a total of more than 56 million articles of literature information. It has become the world's largest China literature database, covering natural science, engineering technology, humanities and social sciences, and comprehensively reflecting China's research achievements and development trends in science, technology, economy, politics, society and culture. On this basis, TTKN adopts various advanced knowledge management and knowledge mining technologies independently developed, organizes literature resources into content-related knowledge networks, supports digital learning and digital research of group interaction, and supports knowledge management and knowledge service. TTKN has been adopted by digital libraries of more than 5,300 universities, research institutes, hospitals, enterprises, governments, primary and secondary schools in Chinese mainland and around the world. TTKN has nearly 26 million long-term end users and downloads 600 million documents every year.
