Summary of good book recommendation activities

Inadvertently, a meaningful activity ended. There must be a lot of experiences worth sharing in this activity. I think it is necessary for us to make a summary of this activity. But what are the requirements for activity summary? The following is a summary of my well-organized good book recommendation activities. Welcome everyone to refer to it, I hope it will help you.

After reading for several months, we held a "good book recommendation" activity. This activity is summarized as follows:

First, a preliminary investigation

At the beginning of the activity, we first investigated the students' extracurricular reading and found that there were several problems in students' extracurricular reading:

First, students' interest in extracurricular reading lacks persistence.

Through several years of reading activities, the reading atmosphere created by the school makes students know the importance of reading, and some students are interested in reading, but quite a few students are not active enough in reading. Every time the teacher asks for extracurricular reading, many students will borrow two books to read it. There are some students who read a book for a while and then stopped reading it for a long time. This lack of lasting reading interest also restricts the improvement of students' reading ability.

Second, students do not have good extracurricular reading habits.

Although many students like reading very much, they have no good reading habits. It often appears when reading a book, and after a cursory look, it is considered to be reading. Secondly, even if I read it carefully, I have no habit of taking notes. Even if you take notes, you just copy a few good sentences and words from the book. This is not even a good sentence. Just copy a few words and it will be a reading note.

Third, students' choice of extracurricular reading content is unreasonable.

Because of the age characteristics of students, students can't choose the correct reading content, and always choose some books with superficial and popular content. In particular, parents always think that buying extracurricular books means buying composition books, and even think that it is an exercise book related to class. Those excellent masterpieces, myths and legends, science fiction books, etc. All times and all over the world can only be buried, which has long been out of the sight of parents and students.

Second, the activity strategy

1, recommend the book of interest. When recommending bibliographies, according to students' age characteristics, interests and hobbies, combined with students' cognitive ability, select some children's literature works that students like, which are healthy in content and suitable for students' tastes.

2. From "interest in class" to "interest outside class". First of all, when we read in class, we extend it from one class to another, so that students can apply the methods learned in class to class. And in the usual teaching, we can consciously contact inside and outside the class to expand students' extracurricular reading. For example, sometimes students are attracted by books, such as fairy tales and fairy tales, but the critical moment comes to an abrupt end, and then students are asked to read after class. If you have time, you can tell stories after the students have finished reading, which can strengthen children's interest.

3. Watch Fun TV. In normal teaching, I use TV to stimulate students' interest in extracurricular reading. Because most students like watching TV now, for example, playing clips of the TV series Romance of the Three Kingdoms, so as to attract students to watch this famous work.

4. Pay attention to the cultivation of reading habits. "Good habits shape healthy personality and cultivate good reading habits of primary school students, which is one of the effective ways to improve children's own quality." It is necessary to cultivate reading habits in order to keep students' aroused interest for a long time. In fact, there are many kinds of reading notes, and the most common one is to write down your thoughts after reading and write them in a notebook. However, in addition to this simplicity, students can also write reading notes in the same boring form as writing a composition. For example, making reading cards, reading recordings and so on.

5. Encourage students to bring finished books to the classroom to exchange and read, set up a public library corner in the class, establish a complete system of borrowing, returning and damage compensation, and take turns to attend classes, which are managed by students themselves.

Third, the effect of the activity.

Through this activity, students' good reading habits and self-cultivation were initially cultivated. Through reading festival activities, every student can "enjoy reading good books, purify the soul and enlighten life". Self-reflection and self-improvement through reading can make you a cultured person. Through reading activities, the cultural atmosphere of the class is more intense. Students have deeply liked this kind of reading, and reading class has been set as their favorite class. In class, everyone can listen carefully and actively exchange their imagination. Most students will actively read the recommended books after class. In the classroom, books are loud and songs are loud. Classroom discipline has been improved, students have something to do during recess, students can study quietly, the awareness of small masters has been enhanced, and daily behavior habits have been standardized.

Fourth, the confusion of activities and the direction of efforts.

Although the students' interest in reading was fully aroused in this activity, there is still a phenomenon that some students are enthusiastic for three minutes, but they can't really go into the book to read after class. Therefore, we believe that parent-child reading activities can be effectively carried out through home-school communication to help children truly make reading a conscious action and a part of life. This will be the content to be studied next.

In short, how to "lead every student into the world of books, cultivate enthusiasm for books, and make books a guiding light for knowledge life." I think as long as we persist and think, I believe that with our unremitting efforts, students will have a strong interest in reading and let them have a free and happy childhood because of reading!
