Jilin Agricultural University Library was established in September, 1948, located in Jingyue Tourism Economic Development Zone, Changchun City. The library has made great progress in the past 60 years and moved into a new library in early 2007. The new library, with a building area of 365,438+0,000 square meters, is located on the bank of the reservoir in the southeast of the campus, with rich field scenery and picturesque natural landscape. The exterior building of the new building adopts asymmetric layout, the entrance image is outstanding, and the whole building has good lighting. The whole library building consists of two independent areas, A and B. Area A is the main body of the whole building, and the six-story building with the central hall is the reading area. Area B is a three-story building, which is an office area. Area A and Area B are connected by an overhead conjoined building.

The library has acquisition department, cataloging department, circulation department, periodical department, reference department, network management center, office and literature retrieval course teaching and research section. * * * There are 17 reading rooms with 4 164 reading seats, 1 simultaneous interpretation lecture hall and 2 academic conference rooms.
