For many years, libraries have always attached importance to modernization. From 65438 to 0998, the library adopted the management system of "MILINS of National Defense University", and initially realized the computer management of the main business of the library, such as purchasing, cataloging, retrieval, collection and circulation. With the development of modern technology, in order to meet the needs of library business construction and realize library modernization, standardization and network management, on the basis of full investigation and demonstration, our library replaced the original system in early March 2007 and launched the "Integrated Management System for Huiwen Documents", which has modules such as interview, cataloging, collection, circulation, periodicals, statistical management, circulation bibliography and reader information inquiry (OPAC). With the functions of supporting the Z39.50 protocol and multi-machine reading catalogue, the system can directly access CALIS joint catalogue database, upload and download bibliographic data, truly realize the enjoyment of bibliographic data, and make the library's business work and literature borrowing and other reader services fully automated and networked. At present, after using Huiwen in our library, all business departments have realized automatic management in the local area network of windows platform. Readers can inquire about bibliographies and personal data through OPAC public inquiry system, and they can renew their books online. The electronic documents in the library are open to the campus network 24 hours a day. The library has established a web page, through which readers can learn about the collection, retrieve various data resources and read e-books. At present, the library is equipped with a full set of modern facilities. The electronic reading room with 100 computers is equipped with 14TB disk array, 1 1 mirror server, VOD server, WEB server and proxy server. In addition, there are software facilities such as book management system (Huiwen) and electronic reading room management, which improve the work efficiency and scientific management of our library and make our modern service leap to a new level.
